Borrowed Thread has officially been out for one week.
Thank you to everybody who streamed it, shared it or added it to a playlist. We have also received some really personal messages from people who heard parts of their own lives inside the lyrics.
That means more than we can properly explain.
Now that the song is out, it belongs to you too.
It can be about anything you need it to be about. Your meaning doesnt have to be exactly the same as ours.
From our perspective, the song can be heard in two different ways.
It can be about depending on another person because their love makes the pain easier to carry.
It can also be about medication, addiction or another coping mechanism that holds you together for awhile without actually healing what is underneath.
Sometimes relief feels like healing.
But surviving and healing arent always the same thing.

Maybe thats why the song has connected with so many people.
Most of us have held ourselves together with borrowed thread at some point. It might not have been perfect, but it helped us reach the next day.
